PCCSS is aware of the water main issue currently affecting portions of Downtown Eatonton. While a few of our facilities experienced minor impacts earlier, those issues have been resolved, and all PCCSS schools are currently operating as normal.

Should conditions change and affect school operations, we will notify families, staff, and our community as quickly as possible through our official communication channels.

We enjoyed delivering welcome packets to some of our first-year teachers this week, courtesy of the Georgia Department of Education and State School Superintendent Richard Woods' Teach in the Peach initiative!

These packets are filled with Teach in the Peach merchandise and valuable resources designed to support new educators as they navigate their first year as Georgia public school teachers. From practical tools to words of encouragement, each item serves as a reminder that they are not alone on this journey.

The goal of this initiative is to ensure that our beginning teachers feel seen, supported, and celebrated, not only by our district leaders but by state leaders as well. We are grateful for the investment being made in the success of Georgia's newest educators and are excited to see the impact these teachers will have on our students and schools.
