These packets are filled with Teach in the Peach merchandise and valuable resources designed to support new educators as they navigate their first year as Georgia public school teachers. From practical tools to words of encouragement, each item serves as a reminder that they are not alone on this journey.
The goal of this initiative is to ensure that our beginning teachers feel seen, supported, and celebrated, not only by our district leaders but by state leaders as well. We are grateful for the investment being made in the success of Georgia's newest educators and are excited to see the impact these teachers will have on our students and schools.

Friday, our amazing paraprofessionals truly let the good times roll with a day filled with Mardi Gras-themed games, exciting prizes, meaningful connections, and learning that will have a lasting impact in our classrooms.
A special thank you to our outstanding Putnam County instructional coaches for sharing practical literacy strategies that will help build better readers every day. We also appreciate our exceptional state-level presenter for providing valuable information about the Para-to-Teacher Pathway, encouraging and empowering paraprofessionals to continue growing professionally and pursue their dreams of becoming certified educators.
Every bead represented a new idea, every game reminded us that learning can be joyful, and every session reinforced the vital role our paraprofessionals play in student success.
🎭 The masks may come off, but the passion, purpose, and commitment to helping students become stronger readers will continue long after today. Thank you to every paraprofessional for investing in yourselves and in the future of our students!
💛 Laissez les bons temps lire—Let the good times read!

A highlight of the day was hearing from artist and motivational speaker Mr. Sam Glenn, whose inspiring message challenged us to maintain a positive attitude and be a source of light and encouragement, even in difficult circumstances. His creative and engaging presentation left us motivated and ready to make a difference in the lives of our students.
United in purpose and energized for the journey ahead, we are excited for an incredible year of inspiring, innovating, and excelling at PCCSS!
