Following the incredible success of the M & M Sensory Room at PCPS, the Putnam County Elementary School is excited to introduce its very own sensory space: The Zen Den!

The Zen Den was created to provide students with a safe, supportive environment where they can develop self-regulation skills, manage emotions, improve focus, and enhance their overall well-being. Designed with a variety of sensory tools and activities, this calming space allows students to explore sensory experiences that meet their individual needs while supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth.

Spaces like the Zen Den play an important role in helping students build the skills they need to be successful both inside and outside the classroom. By offering a dedicated area for sensory input, movement, mindfulness, and emotional regulation, we are creating a more inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

The Zen Den reflects the Putnam County Charter School System's ongoing commitment to supporting the diverse needs of ALL learners. We are proud to continue expanding resources that promote student wellness and success, ensuring that EVERY child feels supported, valued, and empowered to learn.
