Japheth Nelson, Riley Mashburn, Leroy James, Austin Duncan, and Ronan Robinson attended the Technical Industry Partners Exchange (TIPE) 2026 at Fort Valley State University. Many attendees thought it was great that high school students were interested in cybersecurity and were in attendance at this conference. Mr. Ozols, Cybersecurity Instructor for PCHS was encouraged to attend with students in the following years, starting with the conference in 2027. Our students collaborated with some industry and higher education attendees. The Air Force representative was highly interested in our program at PCHS. The attendees that the students collaborated with during the workshops were surprised at the depth of knowledge the students had. They remarked that the students were smart and complimented us on how well the students interacted with them. To say they were impressed is a bit of an understatement. Mr. Ozols is proud of these students. This is what teaching is all about! |
Photos from the event. We will return tomorrow for the final day.
