Portugal has been inhabited for at least 500.00 years, first by homo sapiens. In the early first millennium BCE, several waves of Celts invaded Portugal for central Europe and intermarried with the Celt Iberian ethnic group. The xvll constitutional 2005-2006. In the elections of February 20, the socialist obtained its largest victory ever achieving an absolute majority for the first time in the party history.
