Switzerland is a scenic country covered with rugged mountains and many rivers. Switzerland is famous for its astonishing landscape. Switzerland is called the watershed country of Europe because of its many rivers. The country covers 15,270 square miles. Switzerland has a magnificent mountain range called the Swiss Alps. Switzerland and Austria are together called the Alpine countries

Together Switzerland and Austria are the size of Alabama. 5 countries border Switzerland. France borders Switzerland from the west, Italy from the south, and Germany from the north, and Austria with a very small country called Liechtenstein from East. Jurra is another mountain arrange running through Switzerland. The Atlantic Ocean and the meridian sea are the closest bodies of water to Switzerland. Switzerland is an amazing and beautiful country.

Switzerland has climate that differs with elevation. Switzerland has many mountains and is one of the homes to the Swiss Alps. Switzerland has marine west coast climate because of its altitude. The country has many highlands, mountains, and Alps. Switzerland mostly has cold winters and warm summers. The Swiss Alps highly affect the climate of the Switzerland. Since Switzerland is not bordering a body of water it has Mainly dry but some humid climate.
