Helmut Kohl
Helmut Kohl

Germany has had an assortment of things occur in its history. In 1866 Otto von Bismark, the Chancellor of Prussia, took over most of Germany, assuring his position as biggest leader in Europe with an amazing victory over France in 1871. Wilhelm II dismissed Bismark in 1890, and lingered long enough to lead Germany into WWI. He later snuck into Holland in 1918 when he realized the war wasn't going to end in his favor.

Later came Adolph Hitler, a German army veteran, and leader of WWII. In 1993 his Nazi party assumed ultimate authority over Germany until 1943 when a series of heavy losses set the tone for the slow march to 1945's uncontrollable surrender. Germany has also gone through the Cold War who's icy eye focused on Berlin, and Helmut Kohl era which was recorded as one of the most dramatic periods in the country's history. Germany is an amazing country.
