Caesar was a famous the leader of Ancient Rome. Spaghetti is an Italian food . Dalida is an Italian singer who writes music. Italy has some very beautiful churches.

The Roman Empire which was where Italy is today, influenced the government architecture of Europe and arts. After the fall of the Roman Empire, Italy was divided into many small territories and city-states, which spread throughout Europe. It was a period of great achievement in the arts.

Italy was finally united as a democratic Republic. Democracy did not bring a stable government.

The people in Italy speak Italian which came from Latin the language of Ancient Rome, celebrating the religious festivals of Roman Catholic Churches is a widely shared part of Italian life.
