  • 4-AA Region Literary Champs!

    Individual Awards include: 1st Place: Girls Extemporaneous Speaking-Abby Wolf, 1st Place: Girls Dramatic Interpretation- Briana Moore,1st Place: Boys Dramatic Interpretation-Noah Lopez, 1st Place: Girls Solo- Samantha Rudolph, 1st Place: Trio- Samantha Rudolph, Hannah Housworth, Bryana Huey, 1st Place: Quartet- Marquez Mathis, Seth WickerJeremiah Skinner, Michael Smith,  2nd Place: Boys Solo- Jeremiah Skinner 4th Place: Girls Essay- Melanie Mead, 4th Place: Boys Extemporaneous Speaking- Charlie Max Farmer. The first place events will compete at state on Saturday, March 14th at Veterans High School in Warner Robins.

  • FFA wins Big @ State

    The Putnam County FFA Dairy Heifer Show Team did Outstanding at the State Livestock show in Perry this past weekend! Mike Parker, Delacy Styles and Brandon Price had top ten fishes in showmanship. Delacy Styles and Kesley Kohl both took home a weight class win. Kesley Kohl placed 4th in the senior divison record book. Delacy Styles finished the show with a Division win and 4th place overall heifer bringing home the 750.00 check! Huge congrats to all students, and a big THANK YOU to the School System, Dairy Producers and Parents that made this season a big success!

  • Girls Basketball 4AA Region Champs


    PCHS girls basketball team are the Region 4AA Champs again! This makes for Back to Back winning years for Coach Hudson!

    The AP students were recognized for scoring a 3 or higher on their exam(s) last May.

    Cory Johnson was named as Principal Barry Lollis' Student of the Month for October.

  • Healthcare Awards Luncheon

    Healthcare students earned their CPR and First Aid certificates and recognized for earning 5 college credit hours.

  • Anchor Club sponsors Mix It Up Day

    Mix-It-Up Day was heled on October 28th.  All participants participated in activities to meet new people and enjoyed ice cream sundaes.

  • Welding Awards Luncheon

    Welding students were being recognized for earning 14 college credit hours along with the basic shielded metal arc welding and gas metal arc welding certificates.

  • Mr. and Ms. JROTC


    The Cadets of the Putnam County High School Army JROTC have elected a “Mr. and Ms. JROTC” to represent the War Eagle Battalion for the school year of 2014-2015. Elected to represent the War Eagle Battalion are Cadet Captain Camille Hyman as “Ms. JROTC” and Cadet Staff Sergeant Kemon Harris as “Mr. JROTC”. These Cadets demonstrate great leadership skills, good academic standing, positive attitudes, and consistently maintain their uniforms in accordance with military procedures.

  • PCHS FFA wins at Gwinett County Fair

    Putnam County FFA and 4-H had another successful weekend of showing at the Gwinnett County Fair. We had many top placings in weight class and showmanship. We also had the Overall Grand Champion heifer exhibited by Kesley Kohl. So PROUD of the SPORTSMANSHIP and TEAM WORK of these students ! GO WAR EAGLES !

  • One Act Play Wins Region

    Congratulations to PCHS's One Act Play Cast, Crew, and Coaches!!!

    PCHS won Region and will compete for state Nov 1st!!! Also our students received the following awards: Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Set, and 3 All Star Cast Members!!

Special Educator of the Year

April Hall, Putnam County High school, is the Special Educator of the Year for the Putnam County Charter School System.  She has really embraced ASPIRE and is a true advocate for her students.

YES Program

We have been awarded over $2.4 million for our Youth Career Connect Grant, funded by the US Department of Labor over 4.5 years. We are one of 24 recipients across the nation and the only school in this and most of our surrounding states.
